Charging Brute - Character Design

Say hello (or maybe run away) from Charging Brute — a rhino who struts like a chimp and hits like a freight train.
Oh, and yes, he's proudly rocking a wrestler mask. 💪🦏

This was my first time designing and building a complex character from the ground up, and it definitely pushed me in the best way possible. I co-designed the concept, and handled everything from modeling to texturing and rendering.
The biggest challenge?
Striking that sweet balance between making him look tough and powerful, but still keeping a playful, approachable charm.
Tough and cute was the brief, and it took a few rounds to hit the right balance. With guidance and valuable feedback from my supervisor, we fine-tuned his proportions, posture, and expression until he felt just right.

Super proud of how he turned out, and I had a blast bringing this heavyweight to life!
